Easily setup GoDaddy email account to receive notification for new emails
GoDaddy is one of the most popular web hosting company on internet. Its rate are cheap and services are reliable. Multi Email Notifier website was also hosted by GoDaddy till the traffic increased and we moved to private server.
GoDaddy provides email account for every website it host. These email ends with site name like support@multiemailnotifier.com. You can access these email through POP3 protocol. They also provide web based interface on https://email.secureserver.net.
Using a combination of the above two you can easily manage your emails without relying on email clients.
Step by step guide about how to a GoDaddy email account in Multi Email Notifier:
- Start add email account wizard by clicking the "New" button on the top left side of the main screen.
- Click the "Next" button and enter an account name. It could be anything by which you can easily recognize the account.
- Click the "Next" button and select "POP3 Account".
- Click the "Next" button and enter the incoming server as mail.secureserver.net and Port as 995. Leave "SSL Required" checked.
- Click the "Next" button and enter "Mailbox Address" as https://email.secureserver.net/login.php
- Click the "Next" button and enter full email address and password
- Click the "Next" button and then click Finish button. If you want, you can test the email account by clicking "test Connection" button.
Godaddy remembers your email address so all that is left to fill is, password. That is also very easy. Multi Email Notifier provides you option to, set the login password of launched POP3 email account, in clipboard. You can right click in the "Password" text box and paste.
