Options Window

This is the options window which you bring up by clicking "Options" button on main screen toolbar. Here you can set various
options for the software.
General Settings:

Check all accounts for new email after: By default
Multi EMail Notifier updates all email accounts after 10 minutes. You can
adjust the interval according to your needs. If you do not want Multi
EMail Notifier to automatically check for new emails then select "Never". You can also manage email accounts to have custom check interval. If "Never" is set as an option then it will stop software from checking any emails despite the custom settings. The defailt setting (other than "Never") will apply only if an email account does not have custom setings to check emails.

Start application when computer is started: Check
this option to make Multi EMail Notifier automatically start with windows.
By default Multi EMail Notifier automatically start with windows.

Automatically check for software update: By default
Multi EMail Notifier automatically checks for update each time it is
started. We recommend you to keep this option checked so that you are
informed about the new version of software as soon as possible.

Launch basic / lite version of inbox: This is applicable only to Gmail and AOL email accounts. If you want to quickly access the no-frills inbox then use this feature.

Automatically update web module: Web Module is a helper which assist main software to work porperly. It needs frequent update so we have seperated its update process from main application. This way it is easier for us to keep the software working without downloading / installing patches frequently. If unchecked it will ask you before downloading and installing the update.
Notification:

Play sound on arrival of new mail: Check this
option if you want sound to be played when a new email arrives. You can
select your own sound to be played by clicking the button adjoining the
text box.

Show popup window on arrival of new mail: If this
option is checked then a small popup window will be shown as new email
arrives.

Auto close notification alert window: If this
option is unchecked then you have to manually close the alert window which pops up on arrival of new mail. If necessary, uncheck it with caution as too many open windows can eat up system resources.
Password Protection:

Protect: Check this option to enter a password
which will be required to access the application. This is useful if you
are going away for sometime and someone else is using your computer.
Please remember the password as it is not possible to recover it.
POP3 Settings:

When launching mailbox, copy password to clipboard:
For POP3 / IMAP account it is not possible to automatically login into inbox. If
you have entered webmail address at the time of creating an account then
that page will be shown when you click "Launch Inbox" toolbar button. To
facilitate easy login Multi EMail Notifier can copy the password in to
clipboard so you just have to paste in the login text box.

Always confirm when marking new emails as read: Fro
POP3 account you have to manually mark emails as read by clicking the
"Mark Checked As Read" link. If this option is checked then you will asked
to confirm whether to mark the selected items as checked.

Hide notification for emails sent through Gmail domain account web interface: If the email account is mnanaged by Google Apps then this option is relevant. Due to a limitation a reply from you is also shown as new email. Checking this option will supress that notification.
Advanced Settings:

Show warning when an account is continuously getting error, while checking for new email:
Some times while checking for new email an error occurrs due to internet connection or other minor reason. Multi Email Notifier tries again to check that email account. If after a resonable number of time the error is still there then it informs you about it.

Show "Cookies could not be saved" error:
Cookie is a data file require to help you directly login to your inbox for webmail accounts. If cookie file could not be saved then this error is shown.

Auto check all mail accounts at startup:
By default Multi Email Notifier checks all email despite the interval set for checking. If you want Multi Email Notifier to check email only after the set interval then uncheck this option. This option is useful if you have to restart your computer a lot.
After selecting the desired options click the "OK" button
for them to come in effect.
