Common Errors
Due to the nature of internet connection many time error
occur while checking for emails. Unless these errors happen repeatedly
there is nothing to worry about. When an error occur while checking email
then "Error Log" button in the toolbar becomes enabled. Clicking that
button shows the error log. Here are few errors which occur frequently:

errorOperationTimeout: If the mail server or
internet connection is busy then this error occurs. Usually this error
goes after few tries.

errorSecurityNotInitialized: All the
communication between Multi EMail Notifier and mail server is done on
secure channel. If due to some reason this secure channel cannot be
negotiated between mail server and software then this error occurs.

errorInvalidHostName: This error occurs when the
internet connection is not there or in case of POP3 account the mail
server does not exist. Please check if the internet is working properly
and / or if the error is happening with a POP3 account then check the
mail server setting including the port.

errorSecurityContext: If the mail server does not
support SSL and you have mentioned it in settings then this error will
occur. This error if happens should occur with POP3 account. Please
check the settings for the POP3 account. We would not recommend you to
uncheck the SSL setting.

Email Authentication Failed: This error happens
if the login is not correct for the account. We would recommend you to
manually login to the email account.
If an error keeps happening we suggest you to manually
login to the email account. Sometimes the mail server does not work
correctly, by logging in manually this possibility will be ruled out.
